Harvest.
This is our Thought of the Week.
On Monday 6 October, Ms. Longley talked to us about the Harvest Festival and the importance of giving to people who don’t have as much as we do.
Ms. Longley showed us that we should be grateful for everything we have, because some people can’t access food like we do. They also don’t have shelters and homes like we do.
Ms. Longley helped us understand that giving to the homeless is good for their mental health. She also explained why we should eat seasonally, with foods like summer fruits, pumpkins, vegetables, meat, and all kinds of foods.
Thank you all so much for bringing in food from home and giving to the homeless. We hope you enjoyed our Thought of the Week and have a fabulous weekend.
Thank you, Ms. Longley.
