The Junior Choir meets on a Saturday morning, 9.00-10.30am, and is for boys and girls of primary school age. No previous experience is needed. We sing a wide variety of music ranging from rock and pop to jazz and classical, with many opportunities to perform throughout the year. Rehearsals also include a focus on technique and so have many of the benefits of singing lessons. As you may know, singing as part of a group is excellent for all-round musical development as well as good for developing confidence and a sense of personal achievement, and it is also great fun and a chance to meet pupils from other schools. We will naturally be taking part in the Royal Festival Hall concert which we would also love your school choirs to participate in (more details to follow shortly) but also have regular concerts in local venues.
