On an annual basis we are required to confirm our arrangements for admissions.   Since converting to academy status our admission authority is now Hurst Primary School rather than the London Borough of Bexley. However, we have retained the admission criteria common to local community schools and full details are to be found in the current brochure ‘Admission to Primary Schools in Bexley 2023-24’ and applicants are prioritised in accordance with the school’s admission criteria.  This criteria is posted on the Bexley website and makes references to issues such as distance from school, medical needs, siblings and so on.

Consultations

If a school wishes to make changes to their admission arrangements, a period of consultation has to be undertaken.  If you are interested in finding out about these proposed changes, please go to Bexley Council's website for full details: www.bexley.gov.uk/ourconsultations.
