"The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don't really even notice it, so it's part of everyday life." - Bill Gates
Welcome to our Computing curriculum page. At Hurst Primary, we believe in empowering pupils with the skills and knowledge to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Our Computing curriculum is designed to develop computational thinking, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy skills in every pupil.
Through engaging lessons and hands-on activities, pupils explore a range of topics including coding, robotics, digital citizenship, and computer applications.
We provide opportunities for pupils to develop their creativity, collaborate with peers, and apply technology in meaningful ways across various subjects.
Our aim is to inspire and support pupils to become confident and responsible digital citizens, equipped with the skills they need to navigate the ever-evolving digital landscape.
Please find below the subject vision, whole school long-term plan, concept road map and an example of a medium-term plan.
